HE. Sheikh Dr. Abdul Sattar Abu Ghuddah (Sharia Board Chairman)
HE. Sheikh Dr. Abdul Sattar Abu Ghuddah He holds a Degree in Sharia and Law from Damascus University, a Master’s Degree in Islamic Law and Hadith from Al Azhar University, and a PhD in Islamic Law (Comparative Jurisprudence) from Al Azhar University.

Member of the Islamic Fiqh Academy in Jeddah (since its creation).

Advisor to the Islamic Fiqh Academy affiliated to the Muslim World League in Mecca.

Member of the International Zakat Sharia Board since its inception.

Member of the Accounting Standards Committee and member of the Accounting & Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI).

Chairman of BLOM Development Bank’s Sharia Board, Chairman and member of several Sharia Consulting Boards at Islamic financial institutions all over the world (banks, investment schemes, insurance, lease and trust funds).

HE. Sheikh Amin El Kurdi (Sharia Board Member)
HE. Sheikh Amin Kurdi Secretary of Dar El Fatwa in the Lebanese Republic, he holds a Degree in Islamic Law from the Islamic Sharia University of Dar El Fatwa. Imam and speaker at the Mohammad El Amin Mosque, he holds a teaching and administrative position at the Sharia University. Member of the BLOM Development Bank’s Sharia Board and member of many Sharia Consulting Boards at Lebanese banks as well as several specialized committees affiliated to Dar Al Iftaa.

HE. Sheikh Hussein El Khushin (Sharia Board Member)
He studied in the Hawza of Qom and was tutored by prominent scholars such as: Sayyed Mahmoud Hachimi, Sayyed Kazim Al Hairi and more. He is a Professor for more than fifteen years of Jurisprudence (Fiqh) and Islamic Studies at the Islamic Sharia Institute.

He works as an advisor in Jurisprudence and is a decision-maker in Islamic law researches issued by religious scholar Sayyed Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah. He often attended intellectual and Islamic conferences as his representative. He has many works many of which were published in periodical magazines and daily journals, such as researches and articles.
