Murabaha to purchase new and used cars

Characteristics of “WASSILATI” Program
WASSILATI Program is fully compliant with the provisions of the Islamic Sharia.
  • Financing shall be in US dollars.
  • The car must not exceed eight-years-old.
  • Periods of monthly installments payment shall be flexible and convenient, reaching 72 months for new cars and 60 months for used ones.
  • Downpayments shall be paid at BLOM Development Bank, and shall be set at 20% on new cars, 25% on used ones and 30% on lease offices and companies’ cars.
  • Responsiveness while carrying out Murabaha transactions for clients presenting complete documentation.
  • Files’ processing shall incur fixed duties and fees, without any additional costs.

Required documents and conditions relating to “WASSILATI” Program
  • The client must have turned 18 years old at least.
  • A copy of the identity card or passport.
  • The client must be an employee for more than two years or a self-employed person.
  • A certified statement on the salary or the source of income.
  • The monthly income should exceed threefold the monthly installment.
  • A price offer to BLOM Development Bank from the car agency or its owner.

  • A duly certified statement on the salary or the source of income.
  • The monthly income should exceed threefold the monthly installment.
  • A price offer to BLOM Development Bank from the property owner.
  • Documentation relating to the real estate must be submitted (a copy of the title deed, a mark-free real estate certificate, an agreement with the original property owner stipulating the price of the property).
